A companion of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) enquired, “Oh Messenger of Allah, tell us about yourself”. The Holy Prophet responded, “Yes I will tell you, I am the same person who came as a result of my grandfather’s (metaphorical) prayers for the reformation of the world”.
The promised Messiah (may Allah be pleased with him) stated that if one acquires Taqwa (righteousness) and turns to God then one would have a grand status in this world. But the conditionis that one becomes truthful and steadfast. They do not show proudness and remain faithful without any doubt.
The Promised Messiah stated that, Hadhrat Ibrahim (peace be upon) prayed that through his progeny a Prophet of Arabia should come, but was it accepted straight away? Many years after the life of Hadhrat Ibrahim (peace be upon) no one thought about the result of his prayer. However, it was through the coming of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon) that showed the amazing and grand acceptance of his prayers.
Huzoor asked, “What did you understand from the above? How long ago was Hadhrat Ibrahim born before the Holy Prophet? He was born over 4000 years before, which means that the prayer was accepted 4000 years after”.
Huzoor said that some people say we prayed, but they have not been accepted. When you pray for success of the Jamaat it can take a long time for their acceptance. We shouldn’t think that we prayed that hostility towards Ahmadiyyat is relieved and our prayers did not get accepted and then we start having doubts of whether Ahmadiyyat is true or false. A person has a life span of approximately 50 to 80 years, and 4 to 5 years to them seems quite a lot, but for a Community or Jamaat they span over 1000s of years and therefore for them 10 to 20 years is not long. If in the past 30 to 40 years the condition of Pakistan is not better then maybe in the next 5 years it may improve! So our job is to keep praying.
